Secret is Hamasaki Ayumi's eighth album. When it was originally reported, it was listed as a mini-album, however the mini-album later grew into a full length album. Startin' was the theme song for Capcom Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams video game and was also featured in a Mu-Mo commercial along with Born To Be... that at the same time was the theme song for the Nittele 2006 Winter Olympics. BLUE BIRD was used in a ZESPRI Gold Kiwi commercial. Beautiful Fighters, JEWEL and 1LOVE were used in Panasonic commercials promoting Lumix, d-Snap and d-Dock products.
